It turns out the Martian Death Flu was actually a combination of strep and some other respiratory infection. Antibiotics have been prescribed, along with something called "TussionX," which appears to be Robitussin Xtreme. We are already much improved.

Apologies for having dropped off the face of the Earth somewhat. I will be presenting a seminar on my on-going research on April 9th, then meeting with my thesis committee on the 10th, and also trying to submit my first paper as a first author within this time frame. In other words, I'm stressing and unpleasant and you probably wouldn't want to talk with me anyhow.
