I may not be able to get terribly excited about a Democrat majority in Congress (since I'm not at all impressed with the Dems lately), but I am terribly excited about the removal of certain individuals from my government.

Buh bye, Allen. Buh bye, Man-On-Dog Rick. Don't let the door hit ya.

Also, YAY for Arizona, for being the first state to defeat an anti-gay marriage ban. Yay for South Dakota, for pretty clearly sending the message that the extremist anti-choice agenda ain't gonna fly. Yay for my own Minnesota, for sending the first Muslim to Congress, if only because of the wingnut heads that will explode as a result.

This is the first election I have enjoyed since I became a voter. Good stuff.
